My teaching style depends on the student’s strengths, confidence level, and individual needs. I try to adapt each lesson so that the student feels supported but is also gradually encouraged to work more independently. I like to create an environment where students feel comfortable speaking through their thought process, even if they are unsure. This helps me understand how they are approaching a question, identify misconceptions, and guide them with targeted prompts rather than simply giving them the answer. In a typical lesson, I usually begin by checking prior understanding, then work through examples step by step before moving towards more independent practice. My aim is to help students build both understanding and confidence, so that over time they become more comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems on their own.
