Professional guitar teacher - Fun and affordable lessons tailored to your ability and musical interests!

I'm a passionate, friendly and experienced guitar teacher working in South Manchester. I teach electric, acoustic and classical guitar to suit all levels, ages and goals. Our first lesson is completely free and will be a relaxed meeting, allowing you the chance to meet me, ask me any questions, and get a feel for what I'm like as a teacher. There is absolutely no obligation to continue after that lesson. If you do, I will use what we have discussed to properly plan your subsequent lessons tailored to your specific interests and experience level. Broadly we will look at improving: Technique, rhythm, repertoire (songs / pieces you can confidently play), music theory knowledge & application, performance, improvisation. Nothing is strictly mandated - for example i won't force specific songs you don't like on you or make you do music theory if you have no interest in it. Lessons may lead to taking Grade exams, writing / performing your own music or even moving into teaching yourself. They may also just be for fun! It's about what you want to get out of it. For parents: My youngest students at the moment are 6 and I would recommend that as about the youngest sensible age to start thinking about guitar lessons for your child. 30 minute lessons would be the norm for younger students. You are encouraged to sit in on all the lessons and contact me any time about their progress. It's really never too late to start either! Prices are £30 per hour and £16 for 30 minute slots. Please get in touch and I will respond as soon as i see your message! DBS checked Thanks very much for reading Albert
