I help History A-Level students achieve top grades

Advert description

Hi! I'm a History student at the University of Manchester who scored an A* for my History A-Level. Having scored between 80 and 100 UMS in all the units, I know which learning and revision techniques will help you ensure you can approach whatever question you get with confidence. As I was preparing for my History A-Level, I gathered a rich variety of primary sources and specific facts and figures that are easy to remember and use. These will help you greatly to reduce my stress when walking into the exam room and opening the question paper as you will know you are prepared for any possible question. An experienced tutor, I am always keen to tailor my approach to the student's individual needs, ensuring they get the support they need and score the high result they deserve. My focus is: Weimar and Nazi Germany The Russian Revolution and the USSR Civil rights in the USA The Cold War

I prepared for my state examination with Roman. The main focus of our lessons was on the speaking part. We practiced all kinds of tasks and questions. There was an individual approach to all of them with a very detailed discussion. Roman always offered ways of improving my answers, used interesting and memorable examples, and, most importantly, helped me love the English language more and more after every lesson. During the tuition incredible words were added to my vocabulary; I always remember our lessons when I use them now. I successfully passed the exam and scored a high result, now I’m studying in the country’s best university in English. I would like to thank Roman once again for his help with the exam preparation and support!!!
