Maths tutor for school children of all ages

I am a Biology university student with a strong interest in science and mathematics, and I am currently achieving a First overall in my degree. I enjoy learning about these subjects and want to share that enthusiasm with students. I want to teach because I find it rewarding to help others understand topics they may initially find difficult. I believe that with the right explanation, encouragement and support, every student can make progress and become more confident in their abilities. As a tutor, I aim to create a friendly and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I understand this is not always possible, and it may feel uncomfortable in a class full of lots of other students in school. I want my lessons to be both useful and enjoyable, while helping students develop the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.
