Sarah is a great tutor. She explains things clearly and is very patient. I would definitely recommend her.

I couldn’t recommend her enough! She was an amazing maths teacher when I was at school — so engaging, patient and genuinely passionate about helping her students understand. I struggled with maths at times, but she always took the time to explain things in a way that made sense and never made me feel silly for asking questions. She was incredibly supportive and encouraging, and I always felt like she wanted her students to do their best. I have no doubt that she will be an amazing tutor and give her students the same patience, encouragement and confidence that she gave me. Any student lucky enough to have her as their tutor will be in very safe hands! ??

There are some teachers you remember because they taught you a subject, and then there are teachers you remember because they believed in you when you struggled to believe in yourself. Sarah will always be one of those teachers for me! For a long time I genuinely believed that I just wasn’t capable of being good at maths. There were so many moments when I felt frustrated and overwhelmed, but she was always there with patience, encouragement and reassurance. Sarah never gave up on me and saw potential in me when I didn’t see it in myself. I couldn’t thank her enough! She taught me that struggling with something doesn’t mean you’re incapable of achieving it! During lessons, Sarah explains things clearly, takes the time to make sure you understand, and creates an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions without feeling embarrassed. I love the patience she has with us students and never gives up on us! Thank you so much

Sarah worked for me when I was Head of School as.a maths teacher . She is brilliant and I would recommend her to all . She also taught my son - he went from a 3 to a 5 in a few weeks . Warm , passionate and an expert !

Sarah is an amazing tutor and is so welcoming and kind she supported me and took me from a grade 4 gcse to a 7. When nobody else believed I could get a good grade Sarah did and motivated me to prove everyone wrong. Sarah made me feel that it was okay struggle, ask for help and get things wrong and helped me get them right. Sarah broke things down to make me understand it easily and changed her methods to work around how I understood the maths, she always praised me and made maths fun ??

I was lucky enough to have Sarah as my maths teacher from year 8 up untill my gcse’s. My progression in understanding and knowledge of maths couldn’t have been taught any better, her way of explaining maths was perfect and alot easier to understand all due to how Sarah would go through lessons ensuring that each section of the task was confidently understood by every student. Sarah’s personality was also a big factor on the success in maths that she brought out of me - I would look forward to Sarah’s lessons knowing how happy to help and cheerful she was to teach which made me even more eager to learn. I was working at a grade 2 before i was blessed with having Sarah as my teacher and by the end of our time of being taught by her I proudly passed my maths gcse! She was the loveliest, bubbliest and most knowledgeable teacher i have ever met and would definitely more than recommend her as a tutor.

Miss Highfield taught me all throughout school from Year 7 to Year 11 and was my form teacher in the morning, she was always kind, supportive and approachable and helped me improve my confidence in maths and also in my everyday school life. I was predicted a grade 4 in maths, but with the help and individual support of Miss Highfield I went on to achieve a grade 6. I use the skills she’s given me everyday whilst at work and during my everyday life. She is a great teacher who is able to tailor her teaching to each individual child and for that reason alone I would highly recommend her to anybody.
