Highly experienced GCSE Science tutor available for lead up to GCSE exam season

I am a highly experienced and passionate Science teacher with over 10 years of classroom teaching and 15+ years of tutoring experience. As a current Head of Science, I have a deep understanding of the GCSE curriculum and a proven track record of helping students significantly improve their grades. I teach all areas of science up to GCSE level, including Combined Science and Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), with a specialism in Biology. I support students at every stage—whether preparing for upcoming GCSE exams and aiming for grade boosts, or building strong foundations throughout Years 7–10. I hold multiple science degrees alongside recognised teaching qualifications, including NPQs, which underpin my structured and effective approach. Every lesson is carefully scaffolded to meet the individual needs of each student—whether that’s mastering core content or developing exam technique using real GCSE exam questions. I can cater for all GCSE exam boards including AQA and Edexcel. My teaching is rooted in modern, research-informed pedagogy, including strategies inspired by Teach Like a Champion. I use clear “I do, we do, you do” learning cycles to ensure students gain a strong understanding before applying their knowledge independently.
