I have taught fine art and photography to a-level and art history (modern and contemporary) to degree level. French to gcse.

I have a background in university teaching as well as secondary school. I have run a graphic design business and coached French. I have a pgce, BA in French and history of art from UCL, a PhD in art history from the Courtauld institute and a level V portfolio diploma in graphic design. I like to work with pupils whose interests have not been well met by mainstream education. I have success with gifted pupils as well as pupils with complex needs. I like working out what makes people tick and sharing an understanding of how things work in practice. Horizontal thinking is fun! No right answers, only well formed and plausible ones.
