GCSE Maths tutor (affordable) with secondary school teaching experience. Currently studying Maths at University attaining a first

Poppy kindly agreed to tutor my daughter for her mathematics GCSEs. She had been badly let down by her school and as a result was feeling quite insecure about her mathematics ability even though she liked maths and wanted to take it further. Poppy and my daughter had weekly tutoring sessions over Zoom which worked really well. Poppy in particular was very understanding of the worries a student can have about their ability and took time to talk through the fact that a lot of it comes down to putting the effort in and getting the experience. Poppy had prepared her own teaching resources which were a huge help and as a result my daughter ended up feeling very much more confident with her maths, did very well in her GCSEs and has since gone on to achieve two A*'s at A-Level for Maths and Further Maths. She intends to take a mathematics degree and a great part of her success is due to the support she's had from Poppy. So a huge thanks Poppy and I would recommend your tutoring to anybody!
