Biology Teacher for Secondary Classes, Higher Classes and University level

My lessons are well-structured, engaging, and focused on building strong concepts, not just memorisation. I design each session to be clear, interactive, and aligned with students’ academic goals. **Lesson format** * Each lesson starts with clear learning objectives so students know exactly what they will achieve. * Concepts are explained step by step using simple language, diagrams, and real-life examples. * Lessons include short question–answer sessions, guided practice, and quick revisions to reinforce learning. * For online or recorded classes, content is divided into concise modules for easy understanding and revision. **Content and learning dynamics** * I focus on strengthening fundamentals before moving to complex topics. * Difficult concepts are broken down, especially for students studying in English as a second language. * I encourage active participation and ensure students feel comfortable asking questions. * Lessons are syllabus-oriented (Matric, FSC, O/A Levels, entry tests) while maintaining conceptual depth. **Experience and teaching approach** * I have several years of experience teaching Biology at school and college levels. * With a background in microbiology, I connect textbook biology to practical, laboratory, and real-world applications. * I have extensive experience helping students who struggle with concepts, confidence, or academic pressure. * My teaching balances exam preparation with true understanding of the subject. **What students can expect** * A supportive and disciplined learning environment. * Clear explanations, regular revision, and personalised guidance. * Honest feedback, progress tracking, and practical strategies to improve results. I aim to help students not only score better in exams but also develop confidence, clarity, and a long-lasting understanding of biology.
