Native English tutor, Cambridge CELTA-qualified with over seven years' experience teaching online and in the classroom

My name is Matthew - I'm a Cambridge CELTA-qualified native English language teacher, born in Manchester and currently living near Liverpool. I have over seven years' experience teaching English, both online and in the classroom. I help students of all levels of English from A1 to C2, I run conversation classes that help build speaking confidence, vocabulary and self-correction techniques, I specialise in preparing students for the Cambridge exams (FCE, CAE, etc.), Trinity exams and the IELTS university entry exam. I have a wealth of preparation materials, access to Cambridge teachers’ resources, I conduct conversation classes, help with structuring academic written work, etc. etc. Whether it's mastering the third conditional, using relative pronouns or simply exploring vocabulary, I love my language and one of my strengths is being able to train students how to use English in the most appropriate way; teaching you how we natives speak to each other and why we use the language that we do.
