18 Years Experience MATHS ENGLISH KS1/KS2 11+ SEND PHONICS READING

I have been teaching since 2006 and have taught full time across both Key Stage 1 and 2. Reflecting on my own teaching experiences I have worked at a range of schools in London, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. From outstanding schools to schools that required improvement, I have taken something from each school and added it to my teacher toolkit. I have also been fortunate enough to work in schools of faith, multi-cultural and village schools. It has been an immensely valuable teaching experience that has certainly shaped my professional outlook and provided me with a rich insight into what you can achieve with children. My enthusiasm for the teaching still remains positive and my teaching journey has put me in a position where I wish to make a meaningful difference to children’s lives. In all schools I have worked in, my lessons have been judged ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’. I encourage children to become independent by implementing growth mindset. I have found children to have become resilient and not afraid of tackling new concepts or new challenges I offer support KS1/KS2: English, Literacy, Maths, Reading, Writing, SPaG. Phonics Eleven Plus SATS preparation SEN students in KS3 I do offer weekend tutoring but would prefer to arrange prior to booking. Please kindly message me to arrange timings. If there is anything you would like to ask please feel free to message and we could discuss the needs of your child. I would be happy to assist!
