PhD Engineer | Maths & Engineering tutor | 3 Years University Teaching | Loughborough & Online | English & Chinese

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and structured. I understand that maths and engineering can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking complex problems down into clear, manageable steps. Rather than just showing you how to get the answer, I help you understand why each step works. This builds real confidence and allows you to solve unfamiliar problems independently in exams. I adapt my explanations (teaching/tutoring assistant & math competition winner) depending on your level and learning style — whether you need slow, detailed guidance to strengthen your foundations, or challenging questions to push you further. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s how real learning happens. Feel free to contact me anytime:)
