Engaging GCSE Maths lessons AQA & Edexcel

Ollie was great to work with he allowed me to understand the topic before we moved on anything I found difficult I went to Ollie and he went through it in depth very well. My daughter started tutoring with Ollie in February 2025, with two 45-minute sessions each week. From the very beginning, Ollie has been fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has a real gift for explaining things in a way that finally makes sense to her — much clearer than how it’s often explained at school. What’s been most important to me is how comfortable she feels with him. She’s never been afraid to say when she’s struggling, and he’s always patient and supportive. He’s also taken her through different types of exam questions so she knows exactly what to expect, which has really helped reduce her anxiety. I’ve noticed a real shift in her confidence. For the first time, she feels like she’s capable and ready to face her GCSEs — and that’s all I could ask for.

Ollie helped me with my GSCE Maths. My test results before tutoring from Ollie, I was averaging a grade 4. However in my exam, I managed to achieve a grade 6 which I was over the moon with. Ollie helped me with questions that I found difficult and he would do a clear and easy to understand walk through for me which I found to be a great help. We did exam questions and past papers to prepare for the actual exam, helping me to understand what I needed to do and how the mark scheme worked. I would definitely recommend Ollie to other pupils as his helpful and positive attitude really helped to make learning fun. Even doing exam questions!
