Qualified teacher/ Durham Graduate/ KS1, KS2, 7+ and 11+ specialist/ Guiding students to fantastic results

As a passionate tutor and qualified primary teacher, having previously attended Durham University for my undergraduate and master's, I have experience across Key Stage 1, 2, English and Humanities up to GCSE level, I aim to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and confident in their abilities. I believe in building strong relationships with my students to understand their individual learning styles, strengths, and areas for improvement. By tailoring lessons to suit their needs, I make learning both fun and meaningful, encouraging students to actively participate and take ownership of their progress. What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible ways and my dedication to making each subject enjoyable. My enthusiasm shines through in my lessons, where I blend creative approaches with solid academic skills. I love my field of studies because I truly believe in the power of words and history to shape how we understand the world around us. I’ll help my students improve not only by boosting their knowledge but also by encouraging them to develop skills that will serve them beyond the classroom, such as critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. With patience, adaptability, and a focus on building confidence, I’m committed to helping every student reach their full potential.
