Over 30 years teaching experience of Physics in many schools to many different students. Covid provided the opportunity to enhance my online teaching. Received acclaim from both parents and students for engaging and dealing sensitively with the subject.

Initially I will get to know a student by exploring what they know and what they hope to achieve. Whatever specification is followed we will collaborate and plan out a scheme to help reach those goals. Each topic will start with an overview, followed by some in depth discussion, checking understanding via questions and carefully pitched problems. While online I will use props appropriately to add variety and stimulation to the lessons. To conclude each lesson there will be a summary and Q and A session to check what we have learned.
