I would describe myself as a motivated person with a strong interest in helping children become more confident in their education

I will firstly get to know the student and what level they are at. I will make sure i create a safe space for them where they are able to express any thing they are struggling on. From then I will create a PowerPoint and notes to explain this to them, aswell as lots of questions to make them very confident. If they feel as they are still feeling quite stuck on the topic, I’ll break it down for them into smaller lessons and find a different way to explain it to them. I’ll set them some homework to do throughout the week and try to help them create a simple timetable for them so that they are able to balance their work without being overwhelmed and feel more confident.
