Topic and skill boosters: crack those missed lessons, tough topics, and build confidence

Experienced 1:1 tutor in a range of GCSE and Secondary School subjects. I take an adaptable approach, am learner led, and hold good rapport with students lacking in confidence, struggle with school environments, or feeling like they are always in catch up mode. I like to provide a safe space for learning where the student feels respected, like we are a team tackling the challenges together, and that our sessions are a boost in learning, confidence, and wellbeing. The sessions are designed as boosters for specific topics or skills students wish to improve on. Those skills can be figured out in a get-to-know-me call is they in need of support but not sure where to start. Subjects offered: Psychology GCSE, ALevel, Degree PE GCSE Biology Year 7 - GCSE Chemistry Year 7 - GCSE Religious Studies Year 7 - GCSE English As A Foreign Language Conversation Partner Mode: Virtual Sessions: one off workshops, 4-week skill builders, or other as you prefer. This is not designed to be a long term tutoring arrangement, this is a BOOST in your learning and confidence. Perfect for the hard topics, time missed at school, or that one skill that you always drop marks on. Testimony: “Holly has been tutoring my Year 10 daughter over the lockdown periods. She has provided her with the extra support and guidance that was really needed - keeping her reassured and on track whilst she was unable to go to school. The support that she provides is full of energy and somehow she has even made chemistry fun. They’ve built up a lovely working relationship and Holly now helps my daughter in many subjects as and when she requires. Holly’s style is both versatile and adaptable. I would recommend Holly’s services to anybody considering a tutor over the summer holidays.”
