Teaching French from beginners to intermediate

I'm a french native. I work as a french nanny and help the kids I look after in learning french mostly. I've been teaching french for more than 6months to adults and 3 years to children. Teaching would be first talking with you to understand your needs and wants from learning french. I want to know what your goals are and what your personality is like to see what kind of teaching methods would match for you. I truly believe that learning a language needs to be spoken first before anything. So I will prioritise oral expression and conversation (listening and speaking) and then depending on your levels and your needs add progressively practice into the other language disciplines (reading and writing). I also work with a book when teaching adults so I can give you some homeworks! In order to know your level or accomplishments: first few classes are focused on what you like or what is familiar to you (work, family, friends, activities, hobbies, preferences, culture, arts, etc) as it's easier to speak about what you already know or believe to be true.
