Subject Specific and Generalized Tutoring/Academic Support for Students of All Ages

I am an experienced private tutor with over five years’ experience supporting students in achieving their academic goals. I hold a bachelor’s degree and have provided independent private tutoring and worked at a tutoring center providing both one-to-one services and group sessions. I tailor my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, adapting to their strengths, learning styles, and goals. I offer both general tutoring to support overall academic development and organisation, as well as specialised tutoring focused on specific subjects or exam preparation. I am committed to building strong relationships with both students and their families, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and discussing any academic challenges. In my 5+ years of tutoring, I have worked with students from 11+ through to university level. My primary expertise is in English, particularly literature and essay writing, as well as Mathematics, including geometry, algebra, and calculus. I also have experience tutoring History, Philosophy, Biology, Government and Politics, and Geography. Alongside subject-specific tutoring, I provide broader academic support to help students understand their curriculum and stay on track with assignments. I also offer structured exam preparation, helping students develop effective revision strategies, improve time management, and build confidence in assessments.
