UK senior mathematics teacher|GCSE examiner| online maths tuition for KS2/KS3/KS4/KS5/Maths equivalency test UK

Maryam has strong subject knowledge and explains concepts clearly by breaking them into manageable chunks. I’ve seen her adapt lessons live to cater to my Year 8 and Year 10 children, which is particularly impressive. As someone who finds maths difficult myself, I really appreciate how clearly and patiently she explains things. Highly recommended the one to one sessions with Maryam.

Maryam is a highly experienced and passionate maths professional. Since working with her, my son(Year 9) has developed a genuine interest in maths, which is completely new for them. It’s wonderful to see his confidence and enthusiasm growing, and I’m very grateful for Maryam’s encouragement and expertise.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Maryam for all the support and encouragement she has given my daughter. She has achieved two grades higher than she was predicted, achieving a grade 8 which is absolutely amazing. Maryam has made such a positive impact, especially during such a stressful GCSE year. She has kept her focused, motivated and on track, and I truly believe her support has made a real difference to my daughter’s confidence and results.

My daughter requires SEN support, and Maryam provides attentive, individualised care, recognising her needs and providing appropriate intervention whenever necessary. My daughter was struggling to keep up with her maths homework and was finding it difficult to manage her workload. With Maryam’s support and guidance, she was able to create a structured timetable, allocating time to complete short term targets and work towards achieving her overall goals. This has helped her to become more organised, focused and confident in managing her schoolwork.

My son was struggling to catch up as he fell behind due to personal circumstances. Maryam not only helped my son achieve his grade of 7 but boosted his confidence as well. Would recommend - Maryam is highly experienced, patient, consistent and it shows she cares about her students.

Maryam is an excellent Maths teacher who combines strong subject knowledge with a clear and thoughtful teaching style. She focuses on building genuine understanding rather than relying on memorised formulas, which has greatly improved my confidence. I would highly recommend her to any student looking for professional and effective support.

Maryam has been teaching my daughter since Year 8, and it has been wonderful to see the difference she has made to her confidence and approach to Maths. She is patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in helping her progress. I particularly appreciate the short homework tasks, regular marking and updates on her progress. My daughter is now in Year 10, and we’re looking forward to seeing the results of all their hard work when she takes her GCSEs. We’re very grateful for Maryam’s continued support.

I was looking for a female GCSE Maths tutor, and Maryam was really supportive! Her tips, especially with exam practice and analysing mark schemes, really helped me improve. It was a long journey but I ended up surpassing my predicted grade of a 5 and got a grade 7!

I highly recommend Maryam as a Maths tutor. She is knowledgeable, patient, and explains complex topics clearly, helping me build both understanding and confidence. Her lessons are well-structured and tailored to my needs.
