JLPT N1 certified, I provide 1-1 private lessons tailored to your level and needs. My lessons are aimed primarily at beginners

I hold a degree in Japanese & Japanese anthropology, as well as 10+ years of living and working in Japan in the educational field, so I understand as a student once myself of the grammatical system of the Japanese language and cultural challenges we native English speakers may face. I teach with humour, anecdotes, clear grammatical structure and some Japanese traditional and pop culture to understand the differences between British and Japanese societies and how it connects to Japanese nuances. I’m happy to assist you with any textbooks you already have or to explain the general basics and features of the language to better facilitate your self-study too.
