PhD in Chemical Engineering at UOM, experienced in teaching maths and engineering clearly
Advert description
I have over three years of experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester, where I taught across eight different university modules and supported more than 200 students. This helped me develop a clear, patient, and structured teaching style, especially when explaining complex engineering and quantitative concepts.
I have also provided tutor-style support to undergraduate students in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester, helping them understand difficult course content and successfully pass their exams. This strengthened my ability to adapt my explanations to each student’s level and focus on the areas where they need the most support.
In maths, my strong engineering background has given me solid quantitative, problem-solving, and data analysis skills. I can help students break down difficult problems step by step, build confidence, and understand the logic behind the methods they use.
