Patient, knowledgeable tutor; lessons for high school students globally

In my lessons, I create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable tackling challenging math problems. I begin by assessing each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor the lessons to their unique needs. Typically, a lesson includes a mix of reviewing previous concepts, introducing new material, and working through practice problems together. I incorporate visual aids, interactive examples, and guided problem-solving to make complex topics more approachable. I use a step-by-step approach to simplify difficult concepts, especially in areas like calculus, algebra, and physics. Students can ask questions anytime, and I encourage open discussion to boost their confidence and understanding. We also work on test-taking strategies, tips for solving challenging problems, and techniques for clear, logical reasoning, which are especially useful for students preparing for exams like AP Calculus, IB math, or SAT math. With years of experience teaching students from different curricula, including AP, IB, and various international boards, I’m dedicated to making each lesson impactful, helping students not just improve their grades but also develop a lasting appreciation for math and physics.
