Patient, kind, online tutor for adults learning English as a second language - lots of correction

I am a fully qualified English teacher from Germany. I got in touch with Kate because I wanted to improve my speaking skills through discussion. I have been working with her for six months now, and I am extremely pleased with her input and the progress I am making. Sometimes I ask her to plan a lesson on a particular topic, and sometimes I plan it myself. Kate is flexible, friendly and patient. She identifies my weak spots and provides valuable advice on improving my intonation, vocabulary and fluency. I would highly recommend her to anyone at B2/C1 level who wants constructive feedback to help them improve their speaking skills.

Kate is amazing at what she does. I had never experienced this way of teaching a language until we started learning. We focused on communication, worked on my fluency, and I also learned grammar and proper pronunciation through conversation. I learned something new and practical in each of our lessons. I recommend her classes to anyone who would like to progress their language skills in an interesting way. Lívia

Brilliant lessons. Kate is amazing tutor.

I've had a couple of lessons with Kate, whom I found here on the platform. As someone who is focused on preparing for the IELTS exam, I was specifically looking for a professional tutor who could give me the most important tips and good strategies in areas where my skills are weaker. Kate is fairly experienced and the lesson was well-structured, engaging, and challenging in all the right ways. She took the time to understand my learning goals and tailored the lesson to meet my specific needs. In addtion, during the lesson, I felt comfortable asking questions and seeking for clarifications I need, Kate was always willing to help. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Kate and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable and engaging tutor for IELTS exam preparation.

Kate is a wonderful teacher who makes you feel very comfortable in her lessons. Her teaching style is very creative and lessons are lively. I really enjoy her lessons and look forward to them every week. I would definitely recommend her not only to the ones who really struggle with confidence in learning the language but also to the ones who are really good at it but just need that final push to tweak their skills to get a high score.
