Advert description
I pre-release the teaching material so the student can read around the subject. I then briefly go over the content, unless, student has his/her own questions first. I then practice using exam questions with student and then independently by student. A week after, this topic is re-touched using actual exam questions and essay writing.
I use tools like past exam papers, textbooks and resouces like flash cards etc. I also regularly visit sections of the the economist magazine, in order to relate the current events with the academic concepts. Timed assessments are a really important tool to assess subject understanding
