I am a passionate and knowledgeable individual with a strong background in biology and a genuine interest in helping students.

I started my biology grade at a grade 6 but was determined to improve, and through consistent effort and the use of active recall, I was able to achieve a grade 9. I also helped some of my friends do the same by introducing them to active recall strategies, which made a huge difference for all of us. Active recall is a powerful technique because it forces your brain to retrieve information, making it more likely to stick in your long-term memory. By regularly challenging yourself to recall and apply what you’ve learned you make sure to store the information for longer helping you smash your exams. When I teach, I first focus on helping the student truly understand the material, often through storytelling and breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable terms. Once they understand they will use active recall specifially blurting and anki flashcards to help them keep the knowledge alongside plenty of past exam papers. To keep their marks high they would need to understand mark scheme key words how I did this and how I would teach is by making flashcards of exam questions answered incorrectly. This method helps students not just understand the content, but remember it and apply it confidently in exam scenarios. My goal is to help students understand and develop a love for the subject like I did
