Passionate Italian Tutor for All Ages – Language & Culture Made Engaging

hold a degree in Foreign Languages and have gained solid experience as a tutor of Italian language and culture for native English speakers, both in the UK and in Italy. During my university years, I worked with the University of Leeds and the Umbra Institute in Perugia, supporting American students in learning Italian and exploring local culture. Working in international environments has allowed me to develop a flexible, interactive, and student-centered teaching approach, combining strong linguistic skills with cultural insight. As a tutor, I am patient, approachable, and enthusiastic about helping students engage with the Italian language in a meaningful way. I have experience working with learners of different ages and adapt my teaching style accordingly—more structured and playful with younger students, and more discussion-based and analytical with older learners. My lessons are interactive and designed to foster active participation. I incorporate contemporary media—such as music, videos, social media content, and news articles—to make the learning experience dynamic and relevant. I also often use film as a tool to explore both language and culture, helping students to develop listening skills and cultural awareness in an engaging context. My teaching approach is interactive and student-centered, focused on creating an immersive and supportive environment. I aim to build practical language skills through real-life contexts, cultural insights, and personalized learning strategies that adapt to each student’s pace and interests.
