Passionate English Educator – Empowering Learners from Grade 5 to Adulthood

Hi there! I’m Carl – a native British English speaker, lifelong educator, and passionate language coach with over 20 years’ experience helping learners unlock the power of English for academic success, career progression, and confident communication. Whether you’re a curious Grade 5 student exploring the beauty of the English language, a teen preparing for IGCSE, a professional aiming to master Business English, or someone pursuing international qualifications like IELTS or OET—you’re in the right place. My lessons are never boring or robotic. They’re dynamic, purposeful, and entirely tailored to your goals and learning style. We’ll work together to develop not just your grammar and vocabulary, but your voice—your confidence to speak up in meetings, write with impact, or ace your exams. Here’s a taste of what I teach: • ESL/EFL – from foundational fluency to advanced expression • IELTS & OET – exam strategies, timing, and real-world application • Business English – for presentations, interviews, and everyday professionalism • Cambridge iGCSE English – academic skills, reading, writing, and speaking for success You’ll find my sessions highly supportive, encouraging, and fun—yet focused. I bring a blend of academic rigour and human warmth to each lesson, drawing on my background in leadership, coaching, and international education. Together, we’ll turn language learning into a genuinely motivating journey—one that’s about far more than just passing a test. If you’re ready to take your English further, I’d love to help you get there—with purpose, passion, and progress you can feel.
