“David is a gifted musician and loves to be around kids. He is always keen on understanding and assessing his student's abilities and adjusts the lessons accordingly. Thanks to David, my son has developed a love for piano and looks forward to his weekly lessons. I would highly recommend David as a music teacher.”

David is an inspiring music teacher. He is flexible about what music a student wants to learn and structures the lesson around their goals. He encourages improvisation and any student, whatever their level, can contribute to create a piece of music. His lessons are all about enjoying learning and playing music.

My son was one of first David's students, just after he graduated from university. I was impressed by his natural talents both as a musician and a teacher. From the very beginning he had a clear idea of how to motivate and engage with students, even young primary school children. He still teaches my son, who has progressed substantially on the piano. I have recommended him to several families.

David is a very dedicated and professional piano teacher. My son Nauman has been learning to play the piano both in person and on line for the past three years with him. I am impressed with the fact Nauman actually enjoys his lessons, and is now studying for his ABRSM grade 4. I would have no hesitations in recommending David as piano teacher both to newbies and more experienced players.

My daughter says David is very helpful, patient, and funny! His enthusiasm is infectious and he tailors the lessons to her interest and skills.

David is such a lovely person who is very passionate about his work as a teacher. Ever since I started lessons with him, my skill and understanding of the piano has increased significantly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who was thinking of learning piano/everything else he teaches.

We were so lucky to be put in touch with you, David. As you quickly realised, A is very musical and loves singing but she’s strong willed, emotional and a perfectionist so, in spite of wanting to learn to play piano to accompany herself singing, formal approaches weren’t working. Your creative, flexible lessons brought the joy back to music making. As A’s confidence increased and you bonded, you were able to challenge her to work harder and she made incredible progress on the piano and practising became pleasurable. I often arrive home after work to a house filled with music. Some of her best memories are the improvised jazz and blues collaborations that she regarded as brain breaks and rewards which were playful yet purposeful. Thank you, for generously and empathetically sharing your gift and passion for music-making with A and giving her such an enriching experience of music that it’s become an essential part of who she is and how she expresses herself.

David was a 5-star piano teacher which we are grateful to have had. Caring, dedicated and patient, highly skilled in creating an engaging lesson for even very young ages. My daughter loved her classes and interactions with him. Thank you for everything David and good luck.

David was a patient and supportive teacher. He diligently worked with my daughter, who suffers from hearing loss and neurodiversity, taking time to explain to her everything that she needs to do and why. He tailored the lessons to her needs so that she not only got the most out of each but also enjoyed them. We have since left Oxford, but my daughter still practices in her own time using the techniques taught by David. Thank you, David.

“David has been an amazing piano teacher for Esme. She really enjoys the lessons, especially improvising. Playing music she has chosen is really motivating. She has made so much progress not only in technique but also her confidence. I'm really impressed by how David is able to make that happen.”

David worked with my son for 2 years, tutoring him for his music GCSE. David is a tremendous teacher in a fun but structured way. He has been a huge asset in dealing with the pressure of assessed performances and compositions and has made a great difference to my son's confidence as a musician. I would recommend David to anyone and am considering learning myself!
