Online 11 plus preparation delivered by a qualified and experienced teacher

My son has adored Theresa and her classes for the past two years. Theresa is very warm, welcoming and always encouraging.

My kid tried a couple of 11+ options/ tutors before she found her mojo in Theresa's class. Theresa connects w the kids and gives the parents the right level of guidance to assist their kids. Highly recommended!

We used Theresa's services for 11+ exam preparation, and my daughter attended her weekly 1.5-hour Zoom sessions throughout Year 5. Theresa is a highly sought-after tutor, and after a year of seeing the progress my daughter has made, I completely understand why. She teaches in a very structured, engaging, and easy-to-understand way. Her lessons are well organised, and she creates a positive and encouraging learning environment where children can thrive and improve week after week. Most importantly, Theresa helps build confidence. Thanks to her support and guidance, my daughter became much more confident, and her knowledge and skills improved dramatically. This confidence is invaluable when preparing for and sitting the 11+ exams, helping children approach them with much less stress and anxiety. My daughter was genuinely sad when she realised there would be no more sessions, which is a true testament to the wonderful relationship Theresa builds with her students and the excel

Theresa is a brilliant and engaging tutor, who I am always very happy to recommend to anybody to assist in their child’s 11+ journey. My son has been attending Theresa’s classes for a year and hasn’t complained once - he genuinely finds learning with her fun! He’s looking forward to continuing his tutoring for the next year too. Communication is excellent - we receive detailed overviews from each session and progress reports along the way. As parents we couldn’t ask for any more.

Theresa supported my eldest through 11+ and now we're on the same track with child 2. Neither is exceptionally bright, and we're in quite a competitive area, but with her support we have got what we needed with child 1; child 2 has another year to go and she will give them the best chance possible.

Theresa has tutored both my children for the 11+ tests and she really engages them. She is patient, encouraging and puts the children at ease very quickly. She gets to know each child individually and injects an element of fun into her sessions. Her delivery pace is just right and she is always happy to explain difficult points. The progress the children make with Theresa is very clear.

I would highly recommend Theresa as an 11 plus tutor. My daughter enjoys the group lessons and has learnt a lot, and never wants to miss it! Also Theresa communicates really well with parents so we know what has been covered each week and she sends a good amount of homework to do and practice papers. Definitely very happy we chose her as a tutor for year 5.

Theresa Cox has work with our son over the past year in preparation for the 11+ exams. From the very beginning, she has shown exceptional patience, understanding, and a real talent for teaching. One of the things we’ve appreciated most is the way Theresa identified and focused on our son’s weaker areas, always explaining things clearly and encouraging him to build confidence without ever overwhelming him. The balance of work each week has been just right—challenging enough to keep him progressing, but never too much to cause stress. Her communication has also been excellent. We receive regular updates and progress reports, which help us stay informed and feel confident in how things are going. Thanks to Theresa’s support and consistency, we’ve seen a huge improvement in both ability and self-belief. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her anyone looking for a kind, professional, and effective tutor.

Theresa supported my daughter through her 11+ preparation and I would highly recommend her. My daughter enjoyed her engaging lessons and made a lot of progress through the year. For parents Theresa provided excellent feedback on lessons, the content was well structured across the year and Theresa provided lots of additional tips and resources based on her extensive knowledge of the Kent/Bexley/Newstead tests.

My daughter has attended weekly 11+ tuition classes for the last two years and I would highly recommend Theresa. My daughter loves attending Theresa's lessons. She is very organised and teaches methodically with tricks and tips for children to learn effectively.

We would highly recommend Theresa after tutoring our son for the 11+ exam. She was warm and built rapport with the class, and our son actually looked forward to his weekly lesson on zoom. He never once complained about attending which is a big relief as parents. We were kept well informed by Theresa’s weekly update emails. It was clear from the first lesson that she really knows her stuff - and how to help kids improve. Our son passed the Bexley 11+ exam which is the result we had hoped for. Thank you Theresa!

My daughter had the pleasure of working with Theresa for over a year with both 11+ tutoring and Year 6 tutoring and I can confidently say that Theresa’s expertise and dedication made a remarkable difference to my daughter’s confidence and learning. Theresa is passionate about the subject matter and genuinely invested in the children’s success. Theresa’s explanations were clear, concise and tailored to my daughter’s learning style. Theresa fostered a positive rapport with the children online and especially made my daughter feel comfortable to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
