Native Japanese tutor with 100+ s of teaching experience offering online Japanese lessons for adults and beginners!

Hello! My name is Sayaka, and I'm a native Japanese speaker from Japan currently based in the UK. I have over 100 hours of experience teaching Japanese online to students from different countries and have maintained an average student rating of 4.8 out of 5. I enjoy helping learners gain confidence and making every lesson enjoyable, practical, and tailored to their individual goals. As someone who has spent many years learning English myself, I truly understand both the challenges and the excitement of learning a new language. I believe that having a patient and supportive teacher makes all the difference, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and speaking Japanese from the very first lesson. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your conversation skills, prepare for a trip to Japan, or learn business Japanese, I will design lessons that match your needs and learning pace. We can focus on speaking, listening, grammar, reading, writing, or Japanese culture—whatever helps you achieve your goals. Outside of teaching, I have worked at Mizuho Bank and Russell Well-being Coaching College, which has given me experience communicating with people from different backgrounds and supporting clients professionally. I look forward to helping you enjoy learning Japanese. Let's achieve your goals together!
