Native English speaker with 20 years experience of teaching English in General and Business English

Are you looking to enhance your English level or to learn for your self or do you need English for work? I am passionate about helping people learn English and it shows in the way I teach, I always adapt my lessons to suit your needs. I'm CELTA-qualified with 20 years' experience teaching English face to face and online to everyone from four-year-olds to employees at Credit Suisse, Bankia, Oysho, Leadtech and Football Clubs. Did I mention that I can speak a bit of Spanish and Norwegian, although my Spanish is far better than my Norwegian. I understand what it is like to learn a language and the frustrations that come with it. I specialise in General English, Business English, Cambridge exam prep, IELTS and conversational fluency. In the first lesson, I do a 'Get to Know You' where I find out why you want to learn English, your aims as well as your strengths and weaknesses. I find this is the best way to find out what works for you in learning the language. By using tools such as videos, articles, conversation, or hands-on practice you are learning without it feeling like hard work. With grammar and vocabulary this will come naturally through the conversations. My aim? To build your confidence so you can use English confidently.
