I am a native English speaker. I can help improve reading, writing, speaking and listening skills

Hello prospective students! I am Louie, a language tutor with 1 year of teaching experience. I hold a level 5 degree from the TEFL academy, as well as a BMus Honours degree in music from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I can structure lessons to meet individual students' needs - be it business English, English for prospective students at English universities, or just casual English. I can teach students from complete beginner to advanced. I can recommend to students a wealth of materials to aid them in their daily practice, set them extra-curricular tasks, and can monitor them as they progress. Being a native speaker, I can introduce people to English culture and help them navigate all sorts of day-to-day interactions. This is especially useful for people intending to move to the UK to work or study! For students that are in their early stages of learning (CEFR A1-A2), I find it's important to structure lessons more strictly in a three stage plan - beginning with a warmer, moving on to the body of the lesson and ending with a plenary. For each lesson I can provide the topic and the relevant materials. It's important in the early stages of learning to focus on accuracy of pronunciation, before experimenting with freer, fluency based tasks. We can always take your learning at your own pace, I understand everyone has busy lives and other commitments. Don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like a free consultation. I really look forward to meeting you all and helping you along your language journey. All the best!
