Native Chinese tutor with 1 years' experience offering private Chinese lessons for children and adults online

To build mutual trust, I focus on understanding each other and providing emotional support and positive reinforcement. I also ensure that students achieve their learning goals through customized learning plans and scientifically proven methods. First, I would start by having both parties introduce themselves to foster a deeper understanding. I would share my successful tutoring experience to build confidence and trust. During the teaching process, students are encouraged to raise any issues they encounter, and I will provide appropriate solutions. Throughout the learning journey, I will continuously support and motivate them, boosting their confidence and interest in learning the language. Next, I will assess the student’s learning goals, objectives, and current challenges to understand their current level and the gap to their goals. Based on this assessment, I will create a personalized learning plan. This plan will include phase goals for the entire learning period and an overarching objective to be achieved by the end of the period. Finally, as the learning plan is implemented, I will regularly seek feedback from the student. If there are areas for improvement, we will adjust the teaching content and methods accordingly.
