Music tutor, Bachelor's in music, Master's Student at Berklee, and play 6+ instruments

Not only will I teach you your instrument, but I will also enhance your stage presence and musicality. With a decade of experience in solo performances, orchestras, choirs and ensembles, I strive to bring more to your playing. My lessons are friendly, engaging and tailored to each student’s level, interests and goals. Whether you are preparing for a school or university exam, working on coursework, or simply want to develop your understanding of music, I’ll adapt each lesson to what you need. Lessons can cover music theory, harmony, aural skills, musical analysis, music history and performance, depending on your course and objectives. I like to make lessons practical and connect theoretical concepts to real pieces of music, helping you understand not just what something is, but why it works. As a pianist and experienced ensemble musician, I can also use practical examples from performance to help explain musical concepts. Lessons typically combine explanation, discussion, listening and exercises, with plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions and apply what you have learned. I have extensive experience studying and performing music, including diploma-level piano training, a BMus degree from King’s College London, and leadership and performance experience in university ensembles. I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Global Entertainment & Music Business at Berklee College of Music. My aim is to make music feel approachable and enjoyable while helping you develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to work independently.
