A Level tutor with 6+ years experience teaching

I have been tutoring students of varied capabilities for the past six years from the 11+ to A Levels (Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Mathematics). In addition, I regularly provide one-on-one support for all aspects of medical school applications. Lastly, I have worked on residential summer camps for the past two years. I was responsible for the pastoral care of students aged 13-16 whilst also facilitating an academically enriching experience. Thus, it is fair to say I find working with students to be deeply rewarding! My tutoring style is closely geared to suit the students’ requirements. I work closely alongside my students to nurture a non-judgemental space to understand their goals. Together, we put together a plan to bring these aspirations into fruition. I strive to instil a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and self-confidence by making my lessons interactive, engaging and stimulating. Ultimately, I equip my students with a strong academic foundation which they carry with them beyond our tutoring sessions.
