International Baccalaureate Educator/ Advanced Placement Educator/ Writing and Literature Instructor

I have a Master's Degree and 38 years of experience teaching writing and literature. I can help you understand literature and correct any shortcomings you might have in your writing. I simply enjoy teaching and would take pleasure in teaching you. My classes always begin with the student and the student's needs. Once identified, we can create a method and approach that best meets those needs. I have to confess, I tend to employ creative and fun lesson plans because it makes my job more satisfying and is the most successful way for me to teach. I might employ film, art, world literature, cartoons, comic strips and any other form of enrichment to help students find joy in their studies and further their understanding of the material. With a 99% pass rate on standardized tests, my former students prove that these methods, this joy in learning, works.
