My approach to teaching is rooted in helping each student recognise their unique potential and develop the confidence to achieve it. I believe every learner has the ability to succeed when given the right guidance, structure, and encouragement. I begin by getting to know the student ;understanding their learning style, current challenges, and long-term goals. From there, I create a tailored plan that focuses on both academic improvement and personal growth. My sessions are interactive, supportive, and empowering, designed to help students take ownership of their learning and believe in their abilities. A key part of my teaching is helping students to find their potential. Through reflection, guided questioning, and motivational coaching, I encourage them to identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and set achievable goals. I also focus on helping students to find resources to study better, introducing practical tools, study techniques, and time-management strategies that suit their individual needs. Equally important is monitoring each student’s progress. I track development through regular check-ins, feedback, and goal reviews, celebrating every milestone while identifying areas for continued improvement. This reflective process helps students stay motivated, focused, and aware of their growth. As Head of Careers and Deputy Head of Business Studies, I bring extensive experience in supporting young people to clarify their goals and pathways. I am energetic, compassionate, and fully committed to helping students discover their purpose, not only in their studies but in their wider personal and professional development. Ultimately, my goal is to blend academic guidance with life coaching principles to create a positive, structured, and inspiring learning experience where every student feels seen, supported, and capable of achieving lasting success.
