Greek teacher teaches students of all ages

I am an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and academic leadership across primary, secondary, and adult education. I currently teach Greek as a second language in London at the Hellenic Centre, at Manor Hill Greek Independent School, and through private lessons, delivering courses to both children and adults, including GCSE preparation. Over the past several years, I have also worked as a class teacher supporting students with special educational needs, as well as a teacher assistant, A-Level teacher, tutor, exam supervisor, and academic manager, where I was responsible for leading teams and coordinating programmes. My experience spans classroom teaching in the UK and abroad, private tutoring for secondary and high school students, and exam preparation and marking, reflecting a consistent commitment to high-quality education and student achievement. Choosing to learn with me means learning from someone who combines academic expertise, real classroom experience, and genuine passion for the Greek language. As a qualified philologist, published author, and experienced teacher of Greek as a second language in London, I understand both the structure of the language and the practical challenges learners face. My lessons are tailored, engaging, and goal-oriented — whether you’re preparing for exams, reconnecting with your heritage, or starting from scratch. I create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and grow. With me, you won’t just learn Greek — you’ll understand it, use it, and enjoy the process.
