I have experience teaching guitar and tutoring maths, I usually start off the lesson with a 10-15min warm up, in this case a few warm up exercises on guitar or a few easy maths questions to get the brain working, and then I can explain the topic or what the student would like to learn. If you have any questions please don't be afraid to ask for help, I can clearly explain what you don't understand and give you as much time as you need to work on it.
