GCSE and A-Level Maths Tutor | Ex-Credit Suisse Quant | Statistics and Exam Preparation Specialist

I am a quantitative finance professional with over 10 years of experience working at Credit Suisse, Nomura, EY and Accenture. My background involves applying mathematics and statistics to real-world problems, which helps me explain concepts in a clear and practical way. I have a strong interest in teaching and enjoy helping students build confidence in maths and develop a structured approach to problem solving. I focus on making complex topics simple and accessible, ensuring students understand the “why” behind each concept. I work with students preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams, as well as those looking to strengthen their fundamentals or aim for top grades. I structure my lessons to help students build strong understanding first, and then apply it confidently in exams. Each session is typically 60 minutes and includes a mix of concept explanation, worked examples, and exam-style questions. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Statistics, helping students improve problem-solving skills, avoid common mistakes, and gain confidence. I also provide targeted support using past papers and exam techniques to maximise grades. My background includes over 10 years of experience in quantitative roles at Credit Suisse, EY, Accenture and Nomura, which allows me to explain difficult concepts clearly and logically in a simple manner. Lessons are suitable for students aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen their fundamentals.
