GCSE English Literature and/or GCSE English Language- Tutoring students who need support in revision and preparing for exams
Advert description
I have a 9 in GCSE English Language and an 8 in GCSE English Literature. I also have a A* in A-Level English Literature.
For pupils looking for support in revision and exam preparation - my lessons will be structured to cover revision techniques and exam structures. This includes practicing exam questions, creating revision plans and going over content that the pupil struggles with.
For those seeking support with GCSE English Language: my lessons will be tailored to focus on how to answer exam questions by going over language skills needed for a high-level response.
NOTE (1) : For GCSE English Literature, I can only tutor pupils whose exams include the following texts - Macbeth (Shakespeare), An Inspector Calls (J.B. Priestley) and A Christmas Carol (Charles Dickens)
NOTE (2): Sessions range between 1-2 hours and pupils have the option of being tutored either GCSE English Literature or GCSE English Language. This means that the 2 hour sessions can either be just English Literature OR English Language OR 1 hour assigned to both.
In the first session, the pupil and I will create a plan as to how the following sessions will be conducted, based on their targets, specification and exam board.
