Gain confidence, strengthen your understanding, develop your dom, your invention, your instinct.I love working with students

I am an award winning actor who has helped students of all ages who are looking to understand text, gain confidence, hone their acting skills, and find direction in their performance. Many of my students have got into their dream drama schools - and jobs - after working with me. I have a strong sense of rhythm, style and language, and can help you navigate difficult texts and facilitate delightful discoveries. I can help you shape the text, tell the story, embrace the style of the writing. I have worked with and learned from Sir Peter Hall, Sir Terry Hands, and Cicely Berry and Andrew Wade, text and voice coaches for the Royal Shakespeare Company. With Shakespeare, we will use the verse/prose and play with rhythm, the scansion, driving through the line, understanding the power of the existing structure and the rules and then hear what it is like to break all those rules We can explore metaphor, antithesis, alliteration, and other rhetorical devices, and discover all the wonderful clues that Shakespeare leaves for us. And we will have great fun along the way! I facilitate stress-free exploration and I work to kick-start your unique impulses and allow you to run with them. I am all about your confidence, your voice, your freedom, your invention, your ease, your sense of play... The more you explore, the freer you are, I can help you with monologues, auditions in general, and help you to take ownership of your own work and talent, and free you from fear. Students I have coached have gained places at RADA, Yale, LAMDA, and landed dream TV and theatre jobs. Call me!
