Friendly and motivating coach for Oxbridge prep, Social Sciences and Anthropology

Hi, I'm Katie! I am a two-time Oxford alumna, specialising in the intersection of human behaviour and technology, particularly online community formation, and have a passion for connecting people in creative ways, turning ideas into actions, and making the working world a healthier, happier place. I also come from a state school background and was the first person in my family to go to university - so I absolutely understand the nerve-wracking process of applying to universities, and deciding on the trajectory of your post-education career. It's a scary time...but has the potential to be lots of fun too! I have over a decade of teaching and mentoring experience in multiple environments, and have delivered outreach programmes in Hong Kong, Japan, South Africa and around the UK. I founded my own coaching company in 2022. My client base is largely from the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) sphere. My special interests are in neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD, Mental Health conditions etc.) and diversity and inclusion (gender, disability etc). I am also a qualified CBT practitioner (TEAM CBT, an evidence-based structure to support therapists in providing rapidly effective treatments for mood problems, relationship issues, habits and addictions) and integrate this into my coaching practice, providing a more holistic approach to aiding my clients in achieving their goals. In my free time, I love baking, ill-advisedly long hikes and writing science fiction! I look forward to hearing from you!
