Fluent Spanish Tutor Offering Engaging Lessons for All Abilities, Including GCSE, A-Level and CEFR Exams

--- LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY --- Hi, I'm James! I recently graduated from Cambridge University (where I studied Music) - and while I was there, I completed the CEFR C1 accreditation ('effective operational fluency') in Spanish. I've become fluent in Spanish through examinations and practice – I know what is needed for success in these exams, and I know what it's like learning a language 'by the book'! Each lesson therefore strikes a balance of new content, and engaging, interactive exercises. I fully explain all the concepts I teach - despite what some people think, teaching by osmosis doesn't work! The first lesson will be used to understand the student’s main interests, strengths and weaknesses in music and music theory, and what you are hoping to gain from tutoring. This will help me to adjust the pace and content of lessons to suit the individual. In subsequent lessons, students can then come with specific questions/exercises from their recent studies, which can be covered alongside material I prepare for each lesson. Lessons will be focused on the final exam (if there is one), but will ensure that the student truly understands the concepts. Students are more likely to succeed this way, rather than simply memorising an explanation that they don't understand!
