Flexible tutoring from a qualified teacher with a Master's in Education and nine years teaching experience

Emma (she/her) has worked in education for nine years, has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and gained a Master's in Education in 2020. Emma has taught English and Psychology in secondary schools in New Zealand and England, in state, private and international boarding schools. Emma has extensive experience teaching students with diverse learning needs, including ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, visual impairments and social-emotional needs. Emma has a strengths-focused approach to tutoring that develops students' self-awareness of their learning needs and preferences alongside the bespoke teaching of academic content. By developing these meta-cognitive skills, students are able to experience the long-term benefits of deep learning which extended far beyond the tutoring session.
