An expert teacher, lecturer and professional writer offering sessions for A level and GCSE English literature students

Shani is a super engaging tutor with a deep level of knowledge and passion for her subject. She provides specific and constructive feedback, encourages her students to explore multiple perspectives on various texts, and is always kind and friendly. Thanks to her, I managed to achieve top grades in GCSE English Language and Literature!

A highlight of my academic career was being taught by Shani. Even years later I still find myself looking at the world through the critical thinking and analytical skills she taught me for English A-Level. Shani has a remarkable understanding of complex literature and an extraordinary ability to communicate these ideas in a way that makes them accessible and intellectually rich. Her teaching goes beyond the subject itself, drawing connections from a breadth of disciplines and larger ideas, helping students understand the world at large. I truly felt so empowered through being taught by her, and I had a lot of fun exploring these ideas in her classroom.

Shani is an excellent tutor who tailors each session to meet the needs of my 13 yo son. She has a great rapport with him and her enthusiasm makes each session enjoyable. Shani assesses where he is at and moves him forward with care and encouragement. He looks forward to the session every week! Recommend her without hesitation.
