Qualified GCSE Maths Teacher | QTS | 14+ Years' Experience | Dyslexia, Dyscalculia & ADHD Specialist

Choosing the right tutor isn't just about improving grades—it's about finding someone who understands why a student is struggling and knows how to help them move forward. I'm a fully qualified teacher (QTS) with over 14 years of experience teaching and tutoring students from primary through to GCSE. I specialise in helping students of all abilities, whether they're aiming to secure a Foundation pass, boost their confidence, or achieve the highest grades in Higher GCSE Maths. Many of my students come to me feeling anxious, frustrated or convinced they're "just not a maths person." My first priority is always to build confidence while identifying and addressing the underlying gaps in understanding. Once those foundations are secure, progress often comes much more quickly. I also have extensive experience supporting students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and autism, adapting my teaching to suit the way each individual learns. Every lesson is personalised—there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Lessons focus on: Building strong mathematical understanding Filling knowledge gaps Developing problem-solving skills Mastering GCSE exam techniques Increasing confidence and independence Parents often tell me that, for the first time, their child actually enjoys maths and feels capable of succeeding. I teach online using an interactive whiteboard, allowing lessons to be engaging, collaborative and just as effective as in person. If you're looking for an experienced, supportive tutor who will adapt lessons to your child's needs and help them achieve their potential, I'd be delighted to help.
