Experienced Maths Tutor - Qualified Teacher - Secondary up to GCSE/A Level (Inc Further Maths)

I'm a fully qualified teacher, holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. I graduated with a 2:1 in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Nottingham, and I've been tutoring maths since my own school years. I bring together two things that don't often come as a pair: formal training in how to teach, and a career built on rigorous, high-level mathematics. That means I know how to explain a concept clearly and adjust to how each student learns best, while also genuinely understanding the maths inside and out, not just how to get through an exam. I tutor students from GCSE through to A-Level in Maths and Further Maths, and I'm equally comfortable helping a student close a grade gap or pushing a strong student further. Every lesson is planned around what that particular student needs, not a fixed script.
