Experienced Maths and Economics Tutor (GCSE + A-level) - £30ph with free marking

I am an experienced private tutor with over nine years of teaching experience, helping students of all ages and abilities build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mathematics from University of Bristol, which provides me with a strong analytical foundation and deep subject knowledge, particularly in mathematics and related disciplines. Throughout my tutoring career, I have developed a particular specialism in supporting learners with neurodiverse minds, including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other learning difficulties. My approach is highly personalised, patient, and strengths-based. I understand that every student processes information differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual’s learning style, pace, and interests. I keep lessons engaging by incorporating interactive activities, real-world examples, visual aids, and varied teaching techniques that maintain focus and make challenging concepts more accessible and enjoyable. This may involve breaking complex topics into manageable steps, using structured routines, and tailoring sessions around each student's interests to build motivation and confidence. Many of my students go on to exceed their predicted and expected grades, often achieving results that reflect not only stronger subject knowledge but also greater confidence and independence in their learning. Over the past nine years, I have helped students improve not only their academic performance but also their self-esteem and enjoyment of learning.
